General Hospital of the People's Liberation Army
The hospital is located at No. 28, Fuxing Road, Haidian District, Beijing. Its predecessor was the hospital of the Central Military Commission of China, which can be traced back to the August 1st Nanchang Uprising in 1927. In 1954, it was renamed the 301st Hospital of the People’s Liberation Army, and in 1957, it was given its current name.

Huashan Hospital was founded in 1907, originally known as the General Hospital of the Chinese Red Cross and Medical School. In 1992, it was among the first batch of hospitals to pass the evaluation for China’s tertiary grade A hospitals. The hospital now has multiple campuses, including Pudong, Hongqiao, and North Campus, with 40 clinical and medical technology departments. It has 10 key disciplines of the Ministry of Education and 20 national clinical key specialties of the National Health Commission. According to the 2024 National Specialty Comprehensive Ranking, released by the Fudan University Hospital Management Institute, the hospital’s infectious diseases and dermatology departments, as well as its rehabilitation medicine division, ranked first nationally. Established in 1958, this institution serves as the designated entity of the National Cancer Center and has consistently ranked first in the national performance evaluations of tertiary specialized oncology hospitals. Founded in 1906, the hospital is a hospital directly administered by the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China and an affiliated hospital of Central South University. It is also one of the first comprehensive national medical centers. The hospital now has 3500 beds and 111 clinical medical and technical departments and subspecialties. The hospital is situated at No. 58 Lushan Road, Yuelu District, Changsha City. Originating from the Clinical Research Laboratory of the Hunan Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, established in 1957, it adopted its current name in 1991. The institution currently comprises 41 clinical departments and 7 medical technology departments. It employs 239 senior specialists, including three Grand Masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine (professors holding national academician-level distinctions in traditional medicine) and 24 experts who receive special government allowances from the State Council.
